Youth

·        The youth closed for the holidays

 Pastoral Visitation

·        I visited a couple of ladies who were sick.

·        I visited a family

·        The lady who had converted from Islam visited and we spoke about starting Bible studies with her.

 Outreach Visitation

·        I followed up with the Muslim barber to whom I had given the Jesus film to. Not only did he watch it in his barber shop with his Muslim friends but he had given it to his other Muslim friends to watch.

·        I visited the Muslim tailor and his colleague who I visit regularly and have discussion about the Bible.

·        We visited the old lady who had converted from Islam a couple of years ago and her son (in his forties). We spoke about the Gospel. He is very open but has not yet committed himself to Christ yet. It was his cousin who we led to Christ a few weeks ago.  

 Prayer/Bible Study

·        We had an evening of sharing and fellowship before closing the Bible study for the holidays.

 Other

·        I attended a Sports Ministry seminar run by Athletes in Action at the Charisma church in Laudium

·        Joan and one of her violin students did a short duet concert at Glenhaven Retirement village. I gave a presentation on “Modern India”. A young Muslim girl who is another student of Joan’s went with. We had a good opportunity to listen to the issues in her life and minister to her.

·        Joan and I met with a director of SIM to discuss becoming associate missionaries of SIM
