About the Laudium Baptist Church

The Laudium Baptist Church was started in 1978 by Rev Chin Reddy. Chin pastored the church until he passed away in 2003. After he passed away the church was without a pastor for 3 years in which time the church almost closed down but was kept going by Chin’s widow, Kamala. The church merely existed for those years and an IMB missionary couple, Cliff and Bev Vick, came in for 2 years to assist the church for Sunday services and Wednesday Bible studies.  The Vicks were a great source of encouragement to the few people still left in the church.

In June 2006 Alan and Joan Wainwright returned from 12 years in India to take up the pastoral position of Laudium Baptist Church.

The church at present has about 25 adults and 12 children.

The youth group has just started up with 5 youth

We see the need to network and partner with others in seeing the church in Laudium being built up and the people of Laudium coming to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ
